Independent candidate’s supporter killed in Pirojpur

A supporter of an independent candidate, who was injured in a clash during an election campaign at Mathbaria in Pirojpur, died on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 55. 

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). 

However, a man died on Thursday morning after an attack on the supporters of boat symbol at Munshikandi village under Mollakandi union in the Sadar upazila of Munshiganj.
