BNP’s mass contact extended again by 2 days
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has once again extended its mass contact and leaflet distribution programme by an additional two days in favour of the boycott and non-cooperation movement during the national election.
The party will observe the programme on Sunday and Monday across the country.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the extension of the programme in a virtual press conference on Saturday.
He said a total of 150 leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies were arrested in the last 24 hours. Apart from, 429 others were also sued in six cases during the period.
Earlier on Thursday, BNP extended its mass contact and leaflet distribution programme from Friday to Saturday.
