New political alliance “Juktafront” formed

A new political alliance named “Juktafront” comprising three parties was formed on Wednesday.
The alliance will join the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections.
Major General (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim, Chairman of the Bangladesh Kalyan Party and President of the new alliance, made the announcement at a press conference at National Press Club.
The three parties in the alliance are Bangladesh Kalyan Party, Bangladesh Jatiya Party and Bangladesh Muslim League (BML).
Jafar Ahmed Joy, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jatiya Party and Sheikh Julfiker Bulbul Chowdhury, Chairman of BML were, among others, present.
