JCD leader detained while setting bus on fire in Dhaka

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday detained a central leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) while he was allegedly setting a bus on fire in the capital’s Abdullahpur area. 

The detainee was identified as Mamun Mojumder, 35, Assistant Organizing Secretary of the student organization. 

RAB-1 Senior Assistant Director (media) ASP Md Pervez Rana confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said, Mamun was caught red-handed while setting a passenger bus on fire. Next legal step will be taken in this regard later.
