Fresh 72-hour blockade announced

BNP and like-minded parties will observe a fresh 72-hour nationwide blockade of road, rail, and waterways from Sunday to Tuesday as part of the ongoing movement to oust the government.

The party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement in a virtual press conference on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier, BNP and like-minded parties observed blockade programs of road, rail, and waterways for seven days in three phases.

The third phase two-day blockade ends at 6 am on Friday.
