Narayanganj city BNP Member Secretary arrested

Police arrested Narayanganj city unit BNP Member Secretary Advocate Abu Al Yousuf Khan Tipu on the first day of the party’s nationwide 48-hour rail, road, and waterways blockade on Wednesday.

He was arrested in front of the Central Launch Terminal of the city.

Locals said police arrested him when he along with some supporters tried to bring out a procession in the area. 

Shahadat Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Narayanganj Sadar Police Station, said they arrested Tipu while he was carrying out sabotage activities in the Central Launch Terminal.
