3 bullet injured in police-Juba Dal clash in N’ganj

Three suffered bullet injuries in a clash between police and Juba Dal at Chasara Balur Math area in Narayanganj on Sunday morning. 

The injured are Wadud, Sujan and Sohel. They are the activists of Juba Dal, it is learnt.

Sahed Ahmed, Member Secretary of Narayanganj city unit Juba Dal, said our leaders and activists were gathering at Narayanganj Press Club area in support of their hartal. At that time, police opened fire at them, leaving three injured.  

Anisur Rahman Molla, Officer-in-charge of Narayanganj Sadar Police Station, said BNP leaders and activists hurled brick chips at police when they went to the spot to remove them from there. At that time, police fired several rounds of bullets to bring the situation under control.
