CU BCL committee dissolved

Chittagong University unit committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League has been dissolved.

As per the urgent decision of the BCL central executive committee, the present committee of the Chittagong University unit was declared dissolved, a press release said on Sunday afternoon.

President Saddam Hossain and general secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan signed the release.

A two-member committee of CU unit BCL was announced on July 14, 2019, making Rezaul Haque Rubel president and Iqbal Hossain Tipu general secretary.

But the committee drew controversy over various issues, including beating journalists, attacking general students, and intra-conflict.
