BNP to bring out mass processions in Dhaka today
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold mass processions in the capital Dhaka at 2:30pm on Saturday to press home their one-point demand of resignation of the government.
BNP’s Dhaka south and north city units, its like-minded parties and alliances will separately bring out mass processions.
The Dhaka south city unit of BNP will hold a procession from Kamalapur which will end at Naya Paltan.
The north city unit will start a procession from Rampura which will also end at Naya Paltan.
The party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address as a chief guest at Naya Paltan after the two processions reach there.
Apart from BNP, Ganotantra Mancha, 12-party alliance, Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, LDP, Gonoforum and People’s Party, Samamona Peshajibi Ganatantrik Jote, Gonotantrik Bam Oikya, Labour Party, Bangladesh Sadaran Chhatra Odhikar Sanrakshan Parishad and both factions of Gono Odhikar Parishad will also observe the program separately in different areas of the capital.
