14 Jamaat-Shibir men among 66 held in Satkhira

Police in a special drive held 66 people including 14 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir in Satkhira.

The drive was conducted at eight thanas from Saturday evening to early Sunday.

Information Officer of Satkhira district police Kamal Hosen said, the arrested people are accused of sabotage cases with different police stations.

He said, police arrested 34 of sadar thana, 12 of Kalarua, 3 of Tala, 5 of Kaliganj, 4 of Shymnagar, 3 of Ashashuni, 1 of Debhata and 4 of Patkelghata.
