Natore-4 MP Abdul Quddus passes away
Md Abdul Quddus, the Member of Parliament (MP) from Natore-4 constituency and the president of Natore Awami League (AL), died on Wednesday morning.
He breathed his last around 7:30am while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
His son Asif Abdullah Bin Quddus confirmed his father’s death to Jago News.
Baraigram Upazila AL General Secretary Advocate Mizanur Rahman said Quddus fell ill on Monday evening and was admitted to the United Hospital after receiving primary treatment at his residence. He was suffering from breathing problem and was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he died.
Quddus, also the freedom fighter, is a former State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Ministry. He was elected five times as a MP.
