Govt must take responsibility if anything happens with Khaleda: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has warned that the government will have to take full responsibility if anything happens with the party chief Khaleda Zia.

"She (Khaleda Zia) got admitted to hospital and is now very sick. If anything happens with her, the government will have to take its whole responsibility," he said.

Mirza Fakhrul said this at a brief rally in front of the party's Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka before starting its previously announced road march.

Dhaka City North, and South unit BNP arranged the march program demanding Khaleda Zia's release and an arrangement of her treatment abroad.
