AL to bring out peace procession today

Awami League (AL)’s Dhaka City South Unit will bring out a peace and development procession in the capital on Tuesday afternoon protesting the terrorism and anarchy.

The procession will be brought out from the premises of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) at 3pm and it will end at Bangabandhu Bhaban in Dhanmondi-32 after marching through Shahbagh intersection, Elephant Road and City College, said a press release on Monday.

Before the procession, a brief rally will be arranged in front of the IEB.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will address the rally as the chief guest while Dhaka City South AL President Abu Ahmed Mannafi will chair it.
