Mohsin flown to Singapore for treatment

An air ambulance carrying the Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali left for Singapore around 12:30pm Saturday.

The official urged the people of the country to pray for the minister`s recovery.

On Thursday, the minister was taken to BIRDEM hospital after he fell sick. Later on Friday, he was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at a city hospital as his condition deteriorated.

Earlier, the 66-year-old minister has been suffering from diabetes and underwent a bypass surgery.
