Voting in 9 municipalities on August 7

The election in nine municipalities will be held on August 7.

According to the schedule, the poll will be held in Dinajpur’s Ghoraghat, Nilphamari’s Domar, Rangpur’s Pirganj, Patuakhali’s Golachipa, Narail’s Lohagara, Tangail’s Ghatail, Bogra’s Sonatala and Pabna’s Bera municipalities on the day.

Moreover, the by-election of Manikganj’s Singrai municipality Ward No 1 for member position will also be held on August 7.

The Election Commission deferred the by-election for mayoral post in Shariatpur’s Naria municipality on August 7.
