BNP won't take part in the polls where people cannot vote: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said his party will not participate in such elections where people cannot vote.

He said this in a brief rally before a road march from Gopibag to Nayabazar organized by Dhaka South City unit BNP in the capital on Friday afternoon.

Mirza Fakhrul also said BNP's ongoing movement cannot be stopped by guarding as the demand for resignation of the current government spread across the country.

He said the recent Presidential election proves the country's crisis will not be resolved by this Constitution, and that is why BNP wants an amendment to it.

Terming Awami League a 'Bargi' party, the BNP secretary general urged all to stand against it.
