Former BNP MP Samsul Alam dies
Former BNP lawmaker from Naogaon-4 constituency Samsul Alam Pramanik has passed away. He was 70.
He breathed his last at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) at 4:40am on Monday.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, BNP’s central executive committee member Moklesur Rahman said, Samsul was admitted to the RMCH around 2am as he felt pain in chest and stomach. Later, he died there at 4:40am. He will be buried at his family graveyard after two namaz-e-janaza in the afternoon.
Samsul got BNP ticket to contest in the 6th general election and was elected Member of the Parliament in 1996. He was also elected as lawmaker in 2001.
