Sedition complaint lodged against Nur in Noakhali

A sedition complaint was filed against Gono Odhikar Parishad member secretary and former DUCSU vice president (VP) Nurul Haque Nur in Noakhali.

Safayet Hossain, president of the district unit Bangladesh Muktijoddha Mancha, lodged the complaint with Sudharam Police Station on Sunday afternoon.

The complaint said Nur met Mendi N Safadi, an agent of Israel's intelligence agency Mossad, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It appeared he involved himself in a plot to topple Bangladesh's elected government.

It also said he is actually conspiring of creating division among Bangladesh, its government and the holy religion Islam by handshake with the Mossad agent going abroad in the name of holy Kaaba tawaf.

In this regard, Safayet told Jago News Nur is plotting to oust Bangladesh's legal government by creating hatred and chaos in the country in association with Israel and its intelligence agency Mossad. 

"That is why I demand legal action against him," he added.

Confirming receiving the complaint, Sudharam Model Police Station officer in-charge Anwarul Islam told Jago News legal action will be taken after consulting with higher authority.
