BCL new committee pays tribute to Bangabandhu

The newly declared committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

BCL’s new President Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh Walid Asif Enan with the members of new committee placed a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Road-32 in the capital on Wednesday noon.

BCL’s Dhaka University unit President Mazharul Kabir Shayan, its General Secretary Tanbir Hasan Shaikat, Dhaka City North unit President Riaz Mahmud, its General Secretary Sagar Ahmed, Dhaka City South unit President Rajibul Islam and its General Secretary Sajal Kundu were, among others, present during this time.

Apart from, BCL’s outgoing President Al Nahiyan Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhatyacharjya were also present.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approved the new committee. On behalf of the party president, AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the new committee.
