Govt trying to foil BNP's Dhaka rally, alleges Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fahrul Islam Alamgir has alleged the government is trying to foil the party's 10 December mass rally in capital Dhaka.
"The illegal ministers of the unelected government are trying to thwart the mass rally in Dhaka by creating a tense situation with irresponsible and provocative statements," he said.
"People will gather and be vocal about their demand for the restoration of democracy foiling all plots of the unelected government around the rally," he added.
Mirza Fakhrul said this in a press conference arranged at the political office of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Gulshan in the capital on Thursday.
The BNP secretary general also said greater programs might be announced from the rally to press home their demands.
BNP will hold a mass rally in capital Dhaka on December as part of its rallies in divisional cities seeking the party chief Khaleda Zia's unconditional release, election-time non-party impartial government, and protesting fuel prices hike, deaths, of leaders and activists by police, attack and false cases against them.
