Application submitted seeking extension of Khaleda's release
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's family members submitted an application to the government seeking it extends her release.
The BNP chief's younger brother Shamim Eskandar submitted the application to the home minister on Sunday afternoon.
In the application, he urged the government to allow her to go abroad for better treatment.
Khaleda Zia's private secretary ABM Abdus Satter and her advisory board member Bijan Kanti Das reached the application to the home ministry.
BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier on Saturday, Law Minister Anisul Huq said Khaleda's release term will be extended again if her family members submit an application.
On March 23, her conditional release from jail suspending her sentences in two corruption cases was extended by another six months which ends on September 26.
