AL's Habib wins Sylhet-3 by-polls

Awami League candidate Habibur Rahman Habib has won the by-polls to Sylhet-3 constituency.
He bagged 89,705 votes while his nearest rival and Jatiya Party candidate Atiqur Rahman Atique got 24,604.
A responsible source related to the elections made the disclosure on Saturday evening after the conclusion of vote counting.
Earlier, the voting began at 8 am and ended at 4 pm.
The seat fell vacant after the death of MP Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury from coronavirus on March 11.
