ACC launches probe against Mirza Abbas

The Anti-Corruption Commission has decided to investigate the allegations of embezzling around Tk 200 crore government property and committing some other corruptions by BNP Standing Committee Member and former Housing Minister Mirza Abbas.

The public relations of the anti-graft body made the disclosure on Sunday.

Earlier in January of 2019, ACC director Md Salah Uddin filed a case against Mirza Abbas and his wife Afroza Abbas with Shahjahanpur Police Station accusing them of amassing illegal wealth worth about Tk 20.76 crore.
