Noakhali BNP leader hacked to death

The miscreants hacked a local BNP leader to death in Sadar upazila of Noakhali district on Friday night.

Deceased Harun Molla, 50, was the general secretary of Anderchar Union Parishad in the upazila.

Sudharam Police Station officer in-charge Md Sahed Uddin said the man was hacked to death in front of his home at West Maijchara village around 7:45pm.

Family members said local UP member Hiron was shot dead by the terrorists a year ago. Since then, Harun Molla had been at loggerheads with the men of former over the murder.

As a sequel to, the armed men led by Hiron's sons Riyad and Ripon killed Harun Molla.
