Quader receives Coronavirus vaccine

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader received the Coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday morning.

He received the first dose of the vaccine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University at 10:30am.  

According to the health directorate, a total of 53,19,679 people have received the Coronavirus vaccines so far. Of them, 33,10,141 are male and 20,09,538 are female.

On Tuesday, Bangladesh government reported 45 more COVID-19 deaths and 5,042 new cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the country’s total infections and fatalities reached respectively 6,05,937 and 8,994.
