BNP leader Salahuddin taken to ICU
BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed has been taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of North-eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) hospital in Indian province of Meghalaya. Hospital authorities said, he was taken to the ICU of the hospital considering his physical condition.
Several important physical diagnostic tests have been done on Salahuddin in the hospital on Thursday afternoon. Doctors will get the reports on Friday.
Earlier in Thursday noon, Salahuddin told BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Jonny about his kidney and heart problem.
Jonny told the reporters, Salahuddin is in very bad shape. He had swelling feet. He could not sleep and he looked pale in appearance.
Mentionable, on May 12 Salahuddin Ahmed had been found admitted in a mental hospital in Indian province of Meghalaya after being missing for almost two months from March 10.
