Ex-JaPa MP Shahjahan dies from coronavirus
Former Jatiya Party (JaPa) lawmaker from Bagura-5 constituency advocate Dr Shahjahan Ali Talukder died from coronavirus on Sunday morning. He was 65.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka around 11am.
He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
He tested positive for coronavirus on June 21 and was admitted to the CMH on June 24 where he was on life support.
He was elected to the parliament in 1988.
