Help jobless instead shopping, Quader to party leader-activist

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday urged the party leaders and activists to support the poor-helpless and jobless people instead of shopping in this Eid-ul-Fitr.  

He, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the urge from his official residence in Dhaka.

The AL leader also called on affluent people of the society to be frugal in Eid shopping.

About easing coronavirus lockdown, he said the government did so for keeping life and livelihood moving.

Quader said Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League is beside those who have been working boldly to fight against the pandemic.
