BNP finalizes candidates for JS by-polls

BNP has finalized its candidates for vying in the by-polls to Dhaka-10, Bagerhat-4, and Gaibandha-3 parliamentary constituencies.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names of the candidates at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office on Monday night. 

BNP Dhaka Metropolitan Joint Convener Sheikh Robiul Alam Robi was nominated for vying in the by-polls to Dhaka-10, Kazi Khairuzzaman Shipon for Bagerhat-4 and Dr Mynul Hasan Sadik for Gaibandha-3.

The party’s Acting Chairman Tareque Rahman chaired the meeting of the election nomination board. 

BNP standing committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed, Jamid Uddin Sarker, Mirza Abbas, Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury were present among others during this time.
