AL lawmaker Mozammel dies

Awami League (AL) lawmaker from Bagerhat-4 constituency Dr Mozammel Hossain died while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the wee hours of Friday.
Mozammel, also the president of Bagerhat AL, breathed his last at BSMMU around 1:30am.
He left behind his one son and many well-wishers to mourn of his death.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Sheikh Helal Uddin Stadium in Bagerhat after jummah prayers.
He was born at village Kochubunia in Morrelganj October 1 in 1940. He won five times in national election. He was the state minister for social welfare in 1996.
