Nanak suffers heart attack

Awami League presidium member Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak suffered a heart attack on Monday morning.
He was admitted to the Labaid Cardiac Hospital in the capital and later shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital.
His personal assistant Biplob said Nanak felt chest pain after awakening from sleep in the morning. Later, he was admitted to the Labaid Cardiac Hospital where doctors conducted an angiogram and found two blockages in his heart.
Nanak was kept at CCU after implanting a ring on this heart, Biplob added.
