BNP to hold demo Tuesday as police obstruct rally

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold demonstration at thanas in Dhaka city on Tuesday as police obstructed their rally on Monday.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, announced the programme at a press conference at the party’s Naya Paltan central office at 11am.

The BNP leader said, they will hold protest programme in Dhaka city on Tuesday as they are not allowed to hold the rally today.

BNP’s vice chairman doctor AZM Jahid Hossain, voluntary affairs secretary Meer Sarfat Ali Safu, assistant organizing secretary advocate Abdus Salam Azad were present among others during this time.

To be noted, BNP standing committee members at a meeting last week decided to observe December 30, as the “democracy-killing day”.
