Fakhrul, 134 others sued for arson

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 134 others have been sued in two cases filed by police for torching three motorbikes in the High Court area.   

The cases were filed with Shahbagh Police Station, Sazzadur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ramna zone) of DMP confirmed the cases to Jago News on Thursday. 

Three motorbikes were set on fire in High Court mazar gate, Eidgah gate and Bar Council gate areas at 4:35pm on Wednesday, according to witnesses. 

Sub Inspector Rezaul, who was present on the spot during the time, said a suspected man was detained while fleeing after torching three motorbikes.
