Advocate Toimur Alam arrested

Advocate Toimur Alam Khondaker, president of Narayanganj BNP, was arrested by police on Monday. He was arrested from his Motijheel chamber at about 6:00pm on Monday and taken to Paltan Police Station.

Barrister Ahsanur Rahman, who was with Taimur during his arrest, told thereport24.com, “When police detained him from his Motijheel chamber, then he informed me about his arrest and now I am still waiting at Paltan Police Station for trying to secure his release.”

Paltan Thana Officer-in-Charge Morshed Alam told , “One person named Toimur Alam Khondaker has been arrested. But I do not know whether he is a BNP leader or not.”
