Ershad to be buried at Banani Military Graveyard

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, who died while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Sunday morning, will be buried at Banani Military Graveyard on Tuesday. 

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at army central mosque after Zuhr prayer on Sunday while second at south plaza of Jatiya Sangsad at 10 am and third at the premises of national mosque Baitul Mukarram on Monday. 

Later, the body of Ershad will be flown to his hometown Rangpur by a helicopter. After completion of the fourth Namaz-e-Janaza there, the body will bring back in Dhaka to bury.

His Deputy Press Secretary Khandakar Delowar Jalali confirmed the information to Jago News.  

To be noted, Ershad, also the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and a five-time MP, breathed his last at 7:45am today.
