Khaleda’s health condition improves: BSMMU

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Director Brigadier General AK Mahbubul Hoque today said the heath condition of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has improved.

“She (Khaleda) is well. Her health condition is now better than yesterday’s,” he told journalists at a press briefing at the hospital in the afternoon.

Replying to a query, Mahbubul said proper treatment is being given to Khaleda. She is satisfied and happy with the medical board, he added.

On Sunday, Khaleda Zia was admitted to BSMMU’s cabin No. 621 in the afternoon with pain in joints of her hands and legs, and diabetes.

Now she is undergoing treatment at the BSMMU under a five-member medical board.
