BCL declares panel for DUCSU polls

The ruling Awami League’s student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Sunday announced its panel for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections.

BCL President Rezwanul Chowdhury Shovon will vie for the post of Vice President of DUCSU while it’s General Secretary Golam Rabbany for General Secretary, DU Chhatra League unit General Secretary Saddam Hossain for Assistant General Secretary and Saad Bin Quader for Liberation War Secretary.

Arif Ibn Ali, BM Lipi, Shahrima Tanjila Arni, Majharul Kabir Shoyon, Shams-e-Noman, Shakil Ahmed Tanvir, Rakib Hawlader and Azizul Haque Sarker will vie for the posts of Science and Technology Secretary, Common Room and Cafeteria Secretary, International Secretary, Literature Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, Students’ Transport Secretary and Social Welfare Secretary respectively.  

Besides, Chibol Sangma, Nazrul Islam, Rakibul Hasan, Rakibul Islam Oitijjo, Tanvir Hasan Saikat, Raisa Naser, Sabrina Ity, Ishat Mashafia Ira, Nipu Islam Tonny, Haider Mohammad Jitu, Tilottoma Shikder, Julfiqer Alam Russel and Mahmudul Hasan will vie for the post of member respectively. 

To be noted, the DUCSU polls will be held on March 11.
