BNP’s future bleak as leaders lack courage: Quader
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said the BNP’s future will be bleak if its leaders fail to take risks during the bad time of the party.
“The leaders who cannot show their courage in taking risks when the politics of a party is in crisis and at risk cannot take the party ahead,” he told the reporters after visiting the AL’s nomination distribution activities for the chairman, vice chairman and woman vice chairman posts of Upazila Parishads polls at party president’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi, reports BSS.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said the future of a party becomes bleak when its leaders lack courage. “How do they do politics?” he asked.
About BNP’s programmes, he said the people of the country would not respond to any movement called by BNP as they are facing image crisis at home and abroad for their corruption and terrorist activities. Now, their key work is to recover their image, he added.
AL Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, MP, and other central leaders were present.
