181 BNP men arrested after electoral symbol distribution: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said a total of 181 leaders and activists were arrested after the election commission distributed the electoral symbol.  

Apart from, 2171 BNP men were also arrested after the election schedule announcement to electoral symbol distribution, Rizvi said this at a press conference held at BNP’s Naya Paltan political office on Wednesday.  

He said, the terrorists of the ruling party and law enforcing agency are engaged to attack on the BNP leaders and activists during the election campaign ahead of national polls. 

Expressing the deep sympathy at the death of Vatara thana 40 no. ward BNP’s senior vice president Kafil Uddin, Rizvi said DB police raided his house and killed him after pushed him from the roof on Wednesday at 3am.
