Dr Kamal is not going to contest polls

The president of Gono Forum, also a top leader of Oikyafront, Dr Kamal Hossain is not going to contest polls due to illness.
The executive president of Gono Forum Subrata Chowdhury came up with the remarks while talking to journalists after submitting his nomination paper at Dhaka Divisional commissioner’s office at about 1:30 pm on Wednesday.
“We ’re becoming frustrated over elections. The EC’s attitudes show they are going to hold a controversial election. They had a plan to hold another one-sided election like January 5, 2014. We’ve created an election atmosphere by forming the Oikya Front,” he added.
