Tarique is not in interviewing nomination seekers

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Tuesday continued the interview of their nomination seekers for the third consecutive day.

The interview began with the nomination seekers from Feni-1 constituency of Chattogram division at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office 10:05am. 

BNP’s acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman, who is now staying in London, is not in the today’s interview board as Skype is not accessible today as there was no internet connection, said BNP chief’s press wing member Shamsuddin Didar.

Interview of Cumilla and Sylhet division candidates will also be held today.

Tarique’s participation in BNP’s nomination process raised talks on Sunday. The ruling party filed a complaint with the Election Commission against it.
