BNP starts interview of nomination seekers
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has started interview of its nomination seekers to finalise the candidates who will contest the 11th parliamentary elections with its tickets.
The interview began at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office at 9am on Sunday. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was present as a chief of the nomination board.
The party nomination board, comprising BNP standing committee members, started the interview with those who bought party nomination forms for Rangpur division’s Panchagar-1 constituency.
The interview of the nomination seekers of Rajshahi division will also be taken today.
Later, the nomination board will interview the nomination hopefuls of Rajshahi division from 3pm.
BNP sold 4,580 nomination papers among the aspirants who want to contest the 11th parliamentary elections with its tickets.
The 11th parliamentary elections will be held on December 30.
