We won’t boycott polls: Dr Kamal

The president of Gono Forum and also the chief of Jatiya Oikyafront, Dr Kamal Hossain, said this time they wouldn’t boycott the upcoming polls likely to be held on December 30.

The veteran politician said this while addressing a grand rally of the lawyers organized by ‘Jatiya Lawyer Oikyafront’ at the Supreme Court compound on Saturday.

He said a huge loss has been incurred for boycotting the parliamentary election in 2014 and called upon the alliance leaders and supporters to ensure that no more such harm is done.

“The government has deceived the countrymen. It ought to get a medal for that,” Kamal said.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Jamir Uddin Sircar  spoke at the programme.
