No pressure over midterm polls : Nasim

Awami League-led 14-party alliance and Presidium Member Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has said there is no diplomatic pressure on the government over midterm polls.
He made the statement while briefing media after a meeting of the ruling party-led alliance at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
Nasim said, the issue on midterm polls is a rumor which is created by the media. No discussion is going on in Awami League and the 14-party over holding any midterm polls.
The next election would be held in 2019 under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s leadership, he added.
