BNP’s rally begins in Suhrawardy Udyan

The rally of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) began in Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Sunday.
Several hundred leaders and activists of the party took part in the rally. The leaders will give speech in the rally at 2pm.
Standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will address the rally as the key speaker while BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the rally.
Earlier on Saturday, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police gave permission for the rally on 22 conditions, including arrangement of own security by the party, when two BNP representatives met DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.
