Public want to see good governance: Kamal

Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossen said the citizens of Bangladesh want to ensure good governance.

Kamal came up with the remarks while addressing a rally at Mohanagar Natyamancha in Dhaka on Saturday.

He said people are frustrated now as there is no freedom of movements in the country.

“There is no democracy in the country today. The process of national unity has started in order to restore functional democracy,” Kamal also said.

The rally for building up national unity for establishing effective democracy started at about 3:00pm.

Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, BNP Standing Committee Member Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, leaders of other components of Jatiya Oikya Prokriya and Juktafront, and BNP-led 20-party alliance have joined the rally.
