BNP to sit with professionals today

BNP will hold a meeting with pro-BNP professionals on Thursday to discuss the country’s latest political development following the imprisonment of the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The meeting is set to begin at 4pm at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital.
On February 8, a special court-5 in Dhaka handed down five-year imprisonment to Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
Khaleda’s son and BNP’s senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman and four others have also been sentenced to 10 years in jail in the same case.
