No way for govt changeover without polls: Nasim

Health and Family Welfare Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Mohammed Nasim today said there is no option for changeover of government without polls.

“Threatening of waging movement by BNP cannot scare Awami League. Awami League is a pro-people party and it never fears any threat,” he told a view-exchange with local leaders and workers of his party at Kazipur upazila in the district.

Nasim said BNP is hatching conspiracy over the verdict on 16th constitutional amendment and the Chief Justice.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Awami League along with common people will foil all conspiracies,” he added.

The Awami League presidium member urged the party leaders and workers to take preparation concertedly for the next general election.

“Awami League will win the next parliament election with the love of people,” he hoped.

Kazipur Upazila Awami League President Shawkat Hossain chaired the view-exchange while its general secretary Khalilur Rahman, Upazila Chairman Mozammel Haque Sarker Bakul and Municipality Mayor Haji Nijam Uddin were present on the occasion, among others.
