AL joint meeting to be held at Dhanmondi today

The ruling Awami League has convened a joint meeting of leaders of AL and its front organisations at the party chief's Dhanmondi office at 4pm on Tuesday.

Barrister Biplob Barua, deputy office secretary of Awami League issued a release here on Monday.

The President and general secretary of the Awami League's Dhaka City units and the affiliate bodies have been asked to attend the meeting along with all lawmakers from Dhaka city belonging to Awami League, it said.

General Secretary of Awami League and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader requested all concerned to present in time, the release added.
