AL sends medical team for Rohinghya

The ruling Awami League has sent a medical team for providing health care services to the Rohingya refugees, have taken shelter at Ukhiya in Cox's Bazar, persecuted in Myanmar and entered into Bangladesh, said a party release here today, reports BSS.

The medical team led by Dr Rokeya Sultana, Health and Population Affairs Secretary of the Awami League, will provide healthcare services to the Rohingya refugees.

Even the representatives under the banner of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad of Cox's Bazar district will also take part in the healthcare services.
